He said "I am drunk". I said "No. You're not drunk"
You are in a dazed condition under the influence of
liquor but not drunk".
He said that he wanted to see Mr. Doyle.
I did not see him again till next morning.
I did not say that you did not appear to have been
drinking.
Nobody has influenced me as to the evidence which I
should give.
I cannot say if Peak told me or not that he intended
to call me as a witness.
At 9.30 Peak was not in same condition as when he
came back at about 11 o'clock.
At 9.30 he was perfectly sober.
I have told Peak since what I should say if I was
called up.
There were 4 beds in the room that night.
I cannot say if any other people were in the beds

I have been Warder about 5 months.
I saw Peak on evening of 28th June between 11 and 11.45.
I was on the verandah of the Warders' quarters at the
time.
